The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 3.5//大友克洋+史云梅耶+捷克气质，太多意向符号直讽这个腐朽的世界和人类，最终总会毁灭的//就是镜头语言和逻辑无法很好的交糅，看着有点大乱炖之感，但还是欣赏导演三十年磨一剑的精神，从内核及视效与多处灵动配乐还是让这个作品褒大于贬吧

导演组肯定没少吃菌类食品，创意极佳，喜欢其中的工业质感
有此片在，之前的所有重口味动画都是小菜。有此片在，之前的所有深度动画都是小儿科。

肮脏诡谲的国度，重口程度更甚史云梅耶，像一场想象力溢出流脓的梦。
把所有令人不适的意象放在了一起，让人有些看不懂。
我看不懂但我大受震撼。什么样的人才能想象出这种画面和表现方式呢，真牛啊
废土朋克+定格动画+末日题材+光怪陆离的血腥场景，看得出想映射核爆、压迫、专制的现实意义，可惜的是画风太过恶心，引起生理不适，快进着看完的。
颠覆、矛盾、混乱、痛苦、不知所云、不着边际。总有人对它嗤之以鼻，同样有人将其奉为圭臬。
