The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 故事是根据真实事件改编，赤裸裸的展示在观众面前。种族底层人士不配生活，不配有尊严，不配有生命，命如蝼蚁，暗无天日。大概电影的律师是道光，没有放弃，以一己之力对抗警察系统。
爆料自己的黑历史并没什么大不了，就比如现在的我们也不会嘲笑茹毛饮血的先祖。遮遮掩掩才是毛病，恰恰说明自己还沉沦在不自信的泥潭。
印度电影老生常谈了，也不是第一次直面国情制度等等，未来还是期待更多年轻化视听语言的印度电影吧。
一个每年拍2000部电影的国家，“世界上电影产量最高的国家（请注意，是最高，不是最高之一）”，99.5%都是打发时间的爆米花电影。

也确实会让人想到我们的九十年代是什么样？

你可以有一百种理由嫌弃印度，唯独印度电影不行！我们在印度电影中看到了人生的深度，也看到了这个国家的贫穷与残酷，但总有那么一丝光温暖着人心，这可能就是印度电影最大的魅力。
韩国有《辩护人》，印度有《杰伊比姆》，中国有……？
