精致服化道和宅男趣味让观感比原版好，陀螺过了这么多年还是完全不会写女性角色和男女情感，这三角恋拍的真是让人看得扶额…..

审美拉满，情节拉胯。卡司强大，制作精良。既好看又难看，又臭又长的中年男人人生投机跌宕起伏回到原点且落魄的故事。前半段铺垫太长且无意义，后半段又进展太快。哎，真的是可惜了，这电影怎么不好看。两个半小时，感觉不知道演了个啥。

斯坦背负着冻死父亲并焚尸的噩梦到了底层马戏团，首先见识的是假扮的怪物，他越是排斥这一角色，越是意图通过读心灵媒逃离这个角色，距离成为这个角色就越近，欺骗越高级，其铤而走险自掘坟墓的本质就越显现，男主欠佳，女主发挥空间太小。
想打人，期待了那么久，就这？魔兔五年再聚就这玩意儿？

本可以拍成一个女性复仇的爽片，却硬要拍成“乡下人的悲歌”，不得不感叹：大导演就是有特权。
【YVR-5th】太长太拖沓，尤其是马戏团部分，而且影像风格前后不统一，看得昏昏欲睡，可惜一众好卡司了。
前面太长，后面真正的剧情感觉又在快进。库柏演的也很差，对手戏被碾压

故事并不精彩，努力求财的人被更高段数的女魔头耍了的故事。女魔头套路简单最主要是最后也没赚多少。马戏团也太阴暗了处处像个吃人魔窟，毁了童年想象。不好看
布萊德利·庫伯演的陰陽怪氣，身份莫名其妙交代不清；而凱特與魯妮演技沒有發揮，襯托不了布萊德利(應該怪布萊德利的扶不起)，嚴重浪費了兩位珍貴的影后。編劇、導演、演員算是全盤皆墨，三輸。
很好看的一部悬疑片，虽然男主前后表现的转变有点突然，而且人物的宿命论前后呼应。败笔就是电影的中文的译名，搞的像香港三级片。
