The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 用巨大的、超越种族的爱与温暖包裹住了悲伤，被命运安排的这5天必将永刻于心中。演员的发挥、舞台的调度与音乐的配合堪称完美。原来这就是百老汇啊！
剧本和音乐都好棒！一个很沉重的题材却一直通过场景转换来减轻大家的悲伤…加上个人的故事和小镇居民的爱心，最后看到眼睛湿润…
就个人而言，这部音乐剧给我的感触不是很深，可能某些剧情会有所触动，里面的音乐也没能让我记忆犹深。
