The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication.     本来想给两星的，但因为字母败人品的表现又减了一颗，不知道导演通篇想表现什么，如果是想表现移民的生活不易那完全不需要用字母来体现，移民中最后成就比他高的大有人在，他顶大就是个打篮球的，而且还给孩子们起不了正面的作用——小朋友们无法拥有他万中无一的天赋，就只能去学他垫脚下黑手的垃圾本色了；如果想体现字母本身成长的不易，那更是没必要了，因为NBA里成长环境比他艰苦甚至是悲惨的球员比比皆是，他只是被市容和移民警察追，NBA里多少人是在黑帮的子弹呼啸声中练球长大的。只是拿了一个含金量不足的冠军，就开始暴露自己恶劣自私的本性，这难道和他的家庭教育环境没有关系么？现在就开始唱赞歌，搞回忆录，是不是早了点？最终他只可能是一个笑话，还很短。
