The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 前半截觉得冷笑话太多，内容也比较老套，但从小新柯南附身开始，故事猪突猛进，热血沸腾。结尾落在小新和风间的双向奔赴尤为泪目。
虽然最后风间拿到了炒面面包，但精华的炒面夹心还是被小新吃掉了。啊这个隐喻绝了。不要追求成为精英，人生无意义的那部分或许才最重要。
