The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. @Berlinale72首映 难得在柏林的主竞赛单元看到这么温暖向的片子（后面又看了Alcarras），像一封给80年代巴黎的情书，困难与痛苦都处理得温柔轻盈。夏洛特·甘斯布毫不费力地就演活了一个从迷茫到重新发现生活的中年离异女性，小女主太灵动可爱。结尾Et Si Tu N'Existais Pas的旋律响起时，忍不住会心一笑，跟着轻轻哼唱。

为了看这片子近十年来头一次在在线影院网站看渣画质。结果电影中的每一帧每一个音节演员的每一个神采都让人重新找回与巴黎相恋的感觉。

整体感觉好像一部80年代的德国电影……完成度不错但又似乎缺乏点“新意”。导演让剧中的小青年们看侯麦听Television，法国人民的品味就是这么厉害的嘛~
生活里重要的究竟是什么呢？成长、反思、个性、正义？还是享乐？到最后唯一能让人感到慰藉的只有善良和爱，其他的一切好像只是为了让人在短暂的一生中有事可做。

挺松散的一个片子，围绕着一个法国离异家庭的几年表现了法国家庭与对青少年的影响。主要表达了一种人文主义精神和关怀，还有对家庭爱人的定义，通过解构主义方式。
