The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 女飞的自述也很有力量，演员功底很棒
放在broadway里，实在是比较平庸的剧，不是很理解为什么是must see级别，应该是大部分美国人能对故事背景共情？典型的美式煽情和笑点，除了音乐和演员唱功比较有印象，其他看完真的有想退票的冲动。
终于看到官摄
调度好厉害。虽然说主题立意远大于故事本身，但一个半小时我还是从头哭到尾。喜欢用圣经交流，加油站默哀，消防员妈妈和凌晨四点做德餐这几个片段！可能因为时长和故事基调，一些问题讨论得浅尝辄止。
场景角色无缝衔接，太精致了。
12人抛开政治不谈，那种音乐带来的直接感受的激情！还是能让我们感受到作为普通人的感动！音乐剧给人很直接的感受！

几年前在某站看过字幕组版本，官摄版本的力量感又上一层，我全程感慨“有音乐剧真好”。疫情时代，这样守望相助的故事就显得更加珍贵。非常喜欢。「Be anxious for nothing. 应当一无挂虑。」
Too sweet. 毫无舞美的musical正适合看官摄。
场景角色无缝衔接，太精致了。
这部舞台剧层次非常丰富，大到人道主义，小到个人友情、爱情；从种族问题讲到女性、LGBT群体的社会接纳；有生离死别，也有相遇重逢。正如剧中所唱，一些东西失去了，另一些被建立起来了。
二刷才感到Something's Missing才是题眼，灾难的痛苦不会因善意而模糊。
天呐Jenn Colella的机长太帅了！
幽默又好看。在充满恐惧与愤怒的几周里，很难得的笑了出来。
