1977年芝加哥卡布里尼-格林区贫民窟，男孩威廉·伯克去洗衣房洗衣，遇到破墙洞里走出一带铁钩手臂的好心糖果人谢尔曼·菲尔兹，谢尔曼时常卖糖果，直到有小孩发现糖果里有刀片而被警方通缉。抽象画家安东尼与女友布丽安娜搬进新公寓，女友的弟弟特洛伊来家拜访并讲了该地贫民窟流传的海伦的恐怖故事。安东尼进入贫民窟查看，遇到成年的威廉，他说海伦是寻找糖果人谢尔曼·菲尔兹的女人，并说出当年无辜的谢尔曼被警方害死的事，谢尔曼死后，更多的刀片出现在糖果里；又流传传说对着镜子说5次糖果人他就会出现并杀死你。艺术经销商克莱夫办完安东尼的画展后在镜子前与女友杰里卡做爱并说了5次糖果人，随即被铁钩杀死。

【3.0】于我而言，92版《糖果人》的魅力乃是对都市传说的考古，种族仇恨即是在这个过程中解构出来的一种秘密，意味着那个时代非裔美国人在政治上的仍旧隐形，也意味着白人的恐惧。续集的观看必须结合当下的语境，它一方面从非裔角度自我追问过去的仇恨应该归于何处，另一方面又警惕着那些被粉饰的歧视。这一次，都市传说的回归不再是为了被考古，而是为了夺回书写权，Candyman以恐惧的符号变身为非裔守护神/超级英雄的方式得以重生。
2.5。恐怖元素和社会问题没有有机结合起来，最后既不恐怖，也没多深刻。镜子用的还不错吧。
秉持一贯“往惊悚/恐怖片皮里塞社会族群片”的套路，黑人艺术工作者夫妇无意中触碰到世代集体创伤记忆加口口相传复仇故事交织成的幽灵，男人因艺术沉浸、前辈强行灌顶和身世命定而成为新一任幽灵，女人则在警察滥暴夺爱后协助男人完成最后转化并发出宣言。皮尔讽刺黑人文艺工作者居于承载着血泪史的土地、不自觉成为士绅化的受益者而漠视在地生命史（蜕变前的主角黑人夫妇），沉迷于按白人意志量产艺术装置和表演而不去亲身体验拥抱艺术宣言背后的苦痛（高高在上的纽约黑人女策展人），而张扬哪怕以和肉身溃烂为代价也要拥抱血腥与武力。从Get Out的智慧反击逃离宰制，到Us的集体身份翻转和暴力，再到糖人的有意识拥抱暗黑史和延续造神，事实上可视为对宣扬暴力同态复仇的三部曲。全片最精彩桥段：白人作大死、黑人逃过一劫、亚裔跑路！
1992版的优点没学会，缺点倒是全部继承了。
作为恐怖片我真的很喜欢，无论是片头的镜像还是片尾的剪影动画，光影技巧和有层次的配乐。然而所有精心雕琢的恐怖元素/惊悚氛围/美术特效都只为了一场种族斗争服务，看完只想大呼可惜。一是作为观众我无法对长久以来的黑人压迫和歧视问题共情，二是我理解导演想要表达的精神内核和她的愤怒，但片中描绘的剧情大部分现如今依然在现实世界上演，这部电影的作用也仅仅是呐喊而已。
本来就对ip很失望，现在还搞，简直没有任何好感了。
镜子梦魇和种族问题相媾和突然失去意趣，乔丹皮儿的政治论文写到这一篇突然让人有些阅读乏味。导演的声画意识、场面调度都很精彩。
【3】整个体系非常乔丹·皮尔，用恐怖类型架构承载议题，在该作中主要目的除了直接且当下的种族问题控诉，另外也简要梳理了一段美国士绅化历史（尽管引述这一切的根源仍然是精英化的）。但不足在于趣味和表意的平衡都逊色于他自己导演的作品，后半开始乱套，结局该说是过于天真吗？所幸这位新人女导演的调度还算精彩。短时间内《逃出绝命镇》难以被超越了。

毫无疑问的粪作，作为一部恐怖片，在反派主角“糖果人”的形象都没有塑造好的前提下，就苦大仇深的谈起了从美国建国时期延存至今的“种族歧视”的话题，最后白人警察不经询问直接枪杀黑人的镜头更是直指“弗洛伊德事件”；电影试图把嗜血的恶灵“糖果人”，看做黑人群体反抗精神和反击斗争的表现，这波操作真的让观众哭笑不得，堪比把塔利班视作阿富汗人民小救星。

吃尽了黑命贵和LGBT的正确红利，却依然难以交出一份让观众满意的答卷。新瓶装旧酒的《糖果人》不仅改变了原来的内核，还让这个新时代的“糖果侠”成为了黑人保护者的超级英雄般的存在。这放在一部恐怖片当中，着实有点让人发笑。 在重启泛滥的今天，这部电影承接了原版剧情还是有点意外。但也印证了“过十几年出续集”必烂定律。原版糖果人是一种宿命论般的恶灵怨念集合，在片中尚能逻辑自洽。到了这里，虽然是续集，但却又在无形中改变了糖果人的内核，变成了一个无差别虐杀白人的黑人复仇使者。也难怪外网评价会如此之高。导演尽管用油画质感和许多有想法的镜头没有让电影落入俗套，但通篇的空虚感和混乱还是让这部控诉意味浓重的电影成为了种族自我陶醉的狂欢。 整部电影的精华全在片尾演职员表的皮影动画里。
挺失望的，故事性和惊悚度都比不上《绝命镇》《我们》，也就凶手藏身镜面大开杀戮拍得不错，女厕那段很好就是太短了……
