such a beautiful movie in its own right. magically, first time feel right to have a movie in black and white. often thought childhood is the most carefree period and forgot it's also almost the most sensitive time, compelled to take in the turbulences from surrounding environments, and struggled to cope as much as adults, so not really an easy time in retrospect. this movie covers this topic with such tenderness and well crafted structure, nicely done

孩子要怎么长大呢？聆听所有的声音，沙滩、车流和人群。世界要怎么变好呢？关心所有的人，无论年龄、性别和种族。

至今最喜欢的华金表演，最舒畅也温暖。整个故事其实也不怎么少见，就是小孩与大人间的救赎故事，但是真的拍的很温暖，也很是我喜爱的那种话唠电影。何尝不希望有一个与自己完全平等的长辈又何尝不希望自己是一个拥有独立思想的人呢？
當cliche 拍得不落俗套，孩子想像的未來以及成年人不敢面對的將來，累極時為自己打打氣，c'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon。生命糟透了，但很正常。
生活就像小孩的絮语，没有什么意义也还要一直说下去。
3.5，一碗来自a24的温馨鸡汤。没有教不好的小朋友，只有不愿用心教育的家长。原先在摄影机/录音设备后负责纪录的“影人”反客为主，成为了叙事的主体，这个想法挺有意思的。可能是之前太迷《小丑》了，现在只要看到杰昆一抱双臂，一做鬼脸，就觉得他还在演Arthur…

好温柔的叙述 想念黑白的纽约 以及小人难养
很舒服又有爱的电影，华金菲尼克斯和小男孩的互动很温暖，故事和节奏不是特别吸引人，但很多台词写的很棒，喜欢里面对小朋友们的采访片段，单拎出来做成纪录片一定会非常有趣…3.5
不是我爱的拍法，过于片段化过于讲述甚至有丢煽，但形式和内容仍是合在一起的，而且两个人在丛林互相吼的时候莫名打动。yep, sometimes it just unfortunately touch me.
大量对话的平和片子。虽然是以孩童的视角切入，却觉得更像给大人看的。最后两人在树林中释放大喊的时候很感动。I am not fine and that is a totally reasonable response.

Wilmette Theater。像Joaquin Phoenix会接的戏（他似乎一直对next generation的生活状态抱有一种悲观主义）一些纪录片技法+声效的运用挺有趣 大小两主演演技极好。黑白美则美也 意义似乎不大 浮于表面形式。不论从剧作 呈现形式 还是主题意义上都略显肤浅。片子像一个休闲下午随意喝了杯淡淡的气泡酒 喝完易忘 甚至不打嗝儿。
简简单单，温温暖暖。
典型的essay film，但是嵌套了一个melodrama就让视角显得非常模糊。Jesse也并不完全能与影片中其他被采访的小孩等同起来，所以最后让人感觉一头雾水。
