The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 7.5/10拍的有点太长了，末日质感很棒，可能期待错了，所以才会觉得整体有点太过于温情了，就显得多少有点清淡。机器人的设定还是很感人的，至少到最后我已经不觉得他是一个机器人了，因为他有感情在。
近几年看过最好的公路片了，Don McLean的歌选的太妙了，画面和节奏太舒服了，tom hanks的演技内敛又强大，故事也像《机器人总动员》的前传，真好
一开始以为会很普通，因为感觉一切都像是末日大片，跨种族友情，蒸汽朋克的公路电影的缝合怪。但是怎么说呢，他烹饪的方式还是很让人舒服，主要塑造的是两个戏，外界的坏人是一个若隐若现的麦格芬，隐去的很巧妙。没办法，汤姆汉克斯看到蝴蝶的那一幕还是感动了，带两年了口罩已经强迫症洗手的我，无法不代入。
雖然不乏編劇硬來的強設定，但那份善意和暖意還是挺讓人動容
3.5 汉克斯的表演至少将本片的高度拉了一层。最后演绎的真是太悲伤了。

这是一个关于世界末日无聊的故事，但里面又因为有宠物有些感人。
除了短暂的回忆场景中的人物，以及未见其人的第二辆车，以及狗和蝴蝶，全片其实只有一个传统意义上的演员。
末日公路片，看似很孤独却又并不孤独…期待出个续篇看五六年后的Jeff
