The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 和《缉魂》对照着看，影片做了反高潮和去类型化，但并不就意味高级，信息量还是太少了，情节走向既然这么的光明正面，做戏空间就少了。
科幻外壳下的温情片，人始终在学习的是道别。
结尾女主向那男主表达爱意那一幕最让我有代入感。

分别的痛苦仅留于己，但求家人余生皆幸福。这，大抵就是爱吧。

这片子很有变成悬疑惊悚题材的潜质啊！我一直以为男主其实有双重人格，俩人校对时间不足导致克隆人体内另一个隐藏人格占了上风，然后男主杀回家救老婆孩子……我实在不适合看文艺片。哈哈！
每个个体在人间为自己的搭建的位置，在关系网中的意义都是极其宝贵的财富。而且具有排他性和唯一性。这个电影阐释了这一点。很细致的探讨。

导演也是编剧，牛！演员们的表演和拍摄剪辑也棒！
