The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 冲着演员来的。剧情一般，但是演员真的很有CP感啊。

平平无奇的“平民”爱情故事。
贴近日常现实，但过于鸡毛蒜皮的生活琐事，让一部商业类型片缺乏戏剧张力，甚至有“小题大作”强行制造矛盾之嫌。而套路化的男女恋爱过程及“爱情事业不能两全”的主题也较为寻常，在主题上并没有更深入或新鲜的挖掘，整体平庸寡淡。。。
真没必要，这不是后来的我们2022么。我们何必去电影院看制作精良的电视剧。对，是电视剧。
