剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     I like how fate has bounded the characters together. The final act is gripping to watch. The shots in the film look beautiful, but Mr. del Toro has failed to impress me with his yet again thinnly written characters.

    最大优点是服化道，是真的给我强烈愉悦感的那种服化道。相较于原作的改动几乎全是赘笔，仿佛是嫌原作不够通俗直白，导演加入战争背景，戳破男主“双赢”谎言，甚至直接加入男主身份背景并让他杀人。精神分析的意图太明显，反而让原作最迷人的暧昧内核和宿命感荡然无存。好在收尾收得比原作干净利索。

    前面在嘉年华的部分特别喜欢，让我想起了当时看《巴斯特斯克鲁格斯的歌谣》的快乐。充满文艺色彩又满足猎奇。后半部分的故事逐渐拖沓，把时长拉到两个半小时，有点太长了。
