The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Wnat a stupid and meaningless and nonsense movie
整体完成度不错。除了故事设定之外其他没啥看的了。

影片根据泰·加涅发表的的文章《高处：雪地里的脚印引发了一场温情救援》(High Places: Footprints i n the Snow Lead to an Emotional Rescue，暂译)改编，讲述了母亲、护士兼登山爱好者帕姆·贝尔斯的故事，当她独自跋涉华盛顿山，被暴风雪困住时，她遇到了陌生的登山者并为其展开了一场大胆的营救。

主题是救赎，但是两个人的救赎显然没有化学反应，看得出来拍得很辛苦，但是闹米关键部分表演还是掉链子，和oscar无缘。建议这个片子分类还是改为传记类比较好一点，剧情惊悚大可不必。

不同于一般的冒险题材，这是女主和男主的自我救赎之旅，暴风雪只是引子，不过看点不多，剧情比较简单。
挺无趣的，两个人的独角戏，并不好看，只有呼呼的狂风声和自然风光比较吸引人。

总体来讲是新瓶装旧酒。其实每一个人物都有很强的故事性，譬如逃避叙利亚战乱的司机和有偷窥癖的民宿老板，但是电影时长压缩得太过了导致反转显得过于无力，这些明明可以全员恶人的角色故事根本没有讲明白。那个警察死的不明不白也没有交代为何没有报警记录，叙利亚司无私帮女主也没什么道理可讲，Kate和前夫到底是有什么其他联系也没挖掘…
