The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 在大选的时节看很应景。这么大的信息量，能有条不紊的呈现出来，了不起！全片演员的表演方式跟片子喜剧类型元素很贴合，有趣但不会过于戏谑。🤩🤩🤩看到些评论真让人上火，与其担心索金是不是更左，不如担心自己工作KPI有没有完成惹。

剧本和剪辑确实漂亮。通过庭审过程中的不断闪回，逐步勾勒了和平抗议如何变成了暴力冲突，没有浪费笔墨在还原冲突本身上。
艾伦索金用了一个扎实的剧本来借古讽今，借此片指着懂王鼻子开骂。可惜对于各方立场的标签化处理让整个事件缺乏真实感。过于依靠台词推动也暴露了这位大编剧拙略的导演能力。6.5/10
