The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 需要矛盾与冲突的地方都可以猜出来，每一个铺陈之后都没什么意外。不过，还是佩服东木大爷。
东木老矣，但还能拍电影，真是老牛仔，电影讲是一老一小一虚鲲的故事，有点平淡， 差点睡着
一部温情的西部片，故事简单温和，伍德老爷子一把年纪还这么高产，劳模啊！和小朋友成了忘年交，一路很欢快。
我日啊……..这片子到底存在的意义是啥，东木老爷爷你是想要电影里来段夕阳红？？？？

东木依旧讲了一个我愿意看下去的故事，一个重复自己的故事，但这次，讲的不好。
不像东木。时间回到80年代初，当时的东木拍了西部的《不屈不挠》与公路的《天涯父子情》，这次又是部黄昏牛仔的公路片。后半段有点崩（中间点关于信仰）。危险源于小孩、他人、自然、自我。
东木大爷年过九十依然奋战电影一线，令人钦佩，还希望看到老爷子贡献佳作。
91岁的伊斯特伍德，感觉看一天少一天了……影片本身并不出彩，甚至有点沉闷。唯一的感觉就是：年轻时的追求男子气概、刺激…只是一层皮而已，真正让你安心，值得的，反而是平淡的日常，两人三餐四季。这个道理被一个91岁的老人讲出来，莫名的厚重与悲凉。
60分/东木老爷子的电影是真的看一部少一部了，毕竟以91岁的高龄作为导演兼主角，只有他能做到。

一老一少，一段road trip，路上遇见的人都帮他们，女人爱主角，问题都能迎刃而解。不行，即便这是东木的，也不行。
温馨公路片，但有点太平了，老头子这么大年龄了还在骑马（假的）就有点假，后面遇到酒馆老板娘一家人那里很温馨。
跟完美世界和老爷车比，不在一个水准。无论是故事还是人物都过于单薄了。看到九十岁的他还在电影里调情，怎么都会出戏的。他已经不能骑马了，看到替身在马背上翻腾，也没法不出戏。他已经没法再演一个牛仔了，哪怕是演一个苍老落寞的牛仔。
老爷子九十多岁了依然还拍着，依然是那么细腻的情感。
