The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 哎，生活的无奈还是拍出来了，可太过刻意。这片子里就没一个好男人。
充满温情，充满关爱，夫妻、父女、母女、姐妹间互相关心、扶持。父母总是为儿女着想，不想拖累，儿女希望父母健康长寿。当父母不在时会发现，自己将独自面对死亡，那个挡在你前面的人，已经走了。妈妈演得真好，就象过过这种日子一样。

这个场景值得去电影院一看，就是这个剧情有点子供向
冲着太原看的，但是味不足，演员表演略木讷，情感没烘托出来。

对人鱼公主故事的解读还蛮有意思的，因为遇见了你，让我变成了我自己，让我拥有一颗懂得寂寞与爱的人类的心，即使最终的结果是毁灭，我也不后悔（这种在生命最后一刻拥抱然后消失的戏码百看不厌！）
