The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 没想到2022了还在拍这样的故事，威尔逊演得很不走心，纯当JLo演唱会看了。
以后这种强行隐喻黑人种族歧视的片子，能不能在预告片里讲明白些，不是黑人的我们就不来凑热闹看了。
jlo最近宣传这电影真是拼了，铺天盖地的。这电影也真是不能再量身打造了，再加上bennifer的八卦真是太热闹了。这年头能看个新romcom真太不容易了，我稍稍吐槽一下好了。jlo和Owen wilson的化学反应其实还可以，但是太着重描述男主的普通和土了，搞得跟个老头似的。然后电影里面的social media元素太多了，真的，别在屏幕上放Instagram了求你了。
居然这么快就出分啦，Owen Wilson很适合这种失意但真诚的角色，Lopez很适合大明星的角色。因为开幕式搞了peacock prime，也算回本了吧。
这个爱情故事没有吸引到我……两个50多岁的大龄中年爱情故事并不是那么美好。
怎么说？看到有剧评提到诺丁山，感觉确实像2022版的诺丁山！不过无时无刻都在的网络/手机/sns，太令人窒息了。歌曲都不错，jlo身材棒棒的！
事实证明越俗套越让我乐在其中，甚至想起了当年第一次听《江南style》和《小苹果》的快乐。这个性转灰姑娘的故事最后出现了歌坛大姐大倒追中学男老师的匪夷所思的剧情，辛德瑞拉善良，查理吉尔伯特足够有趣。甜甜的爱情故事在情人节前一天独享。
社会的族群议题与类型片的结构粘合非常不错。
92年的原作当时只做一般鬼片来看。一个黑人受到不公正对待，枉死后化为恶灵向世人索命，这样的鬼怪故事放到如今政治正确的好莱坞，自然免不了成为黑人族裔表达抗争诉求的外衣。但以暴制暴并不能换取更好的明天。
Marry me 很好听。大陆很少引进资本主义国家的爱情片，生活喜剧片。因为太腐败。洗脑多少年轻人。但依然阻挡不了年轻人对美剧的热爱
话说洛佩慈都不老的吗？插曲倒是蛮好听的，剧情却一般，越到后面越难看了。
对镜三声唤，糖果人出现。
结局看懂了导演想表达的思想，种族注意。那种在压迫下的紧绷精神，就像是电影里鬼魅的死亡阴影如影随形，那种紧张，那种疯狂，那种无力，透过电影传达给了观众。

故事老，人也老，不过觉得两位主演倒是挺适合这样的角色。P.S.Jlo还是挺好看的。

叙事逻辑低幼而廉价，“大明星爱上我”同类题材中的鸡肋，《诺丁山》的低劣模仿者。从剧作到演绎统一呈现出敷衍了事的粗糙与虚伪，相比于投入真情实感地打磨剧情，主创选择依靠生硬的工业糖精、无处不在的音乐与不切实际的前任与娱乐生态来强行贩卖所谓“浪漫”与“爱情”，而女明星逛校园、参加舞会这类上世纪腐朽的狗血桥段更加暴露工业流水线编剧的懒惰，人物交集与情感酝酿缺乏说服力，演员状态完全抽离在角色之外，看着2022年还有人做着如此古早的梦，让人很难不尴尬癌发作抠出个三室一厅。
猴爪这回在视听上的全新尝试非常成功，对于镜子的运用比之前的隐形人巧妙太多，但是——本人对于全方位三百六十度无死角政治正确的忍耐程度也到底了，实在没法享受其中。
男主欧文是不是打过针了……脸都肿成猪头了……
