In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 【写完想起来妹妹开车那段莫名其妙的镜头决定减一分
2019年那个寒假，靠着暖气片呜呜地哭，没想到已经过了这么久，换了个城市哭。
故事是不错的，但是为啥要在歌舞剧里搞贴近现实感，故意的收音差，破音，跑音，吐词不清，可角色只要张嘴一唱歌，啥现实感都没了，因为哪个正常人说着说着就唱歌啊…所以，精修下就不够现实了么？找专业歌舞演员就不够现实了么？歌舞剧改编电影成功的都在戏剧和现实之间做到很好的切割，比如芝加哥的舞台设置。但是自从悲惨世界后，不少不开眼的导演就跑去找所谓真实感了，以为让演员唱的撕心裂肺到没气才是好的，可是歌舞剧本身就是超出现实的幻梦，用专业的歌喉和舞美打造精致的体验，所以我真想听真情实感的破音，我自己能去卡啦ok厅听一天，故事还比这个多…哦，对了，这倒霉电影还有sing along 版本，真就影院卡啦ok再就业呗
歌是好听的，故事也有感动的地方，但是改编的就是感觉有点水土不服一样的不和谐感，有点难以共情。
一年内居然能看到两部AA和摩尔阿姨的合作，冲这个就必须去看周四首映场。这个故事在各种音乐剧改编的电影里算是相对合理了，至少结尾没有强行大团圆。另外Colton Ryan怎么突然变帅了好多？
改得太糟糕了，拉垮。Corner唱 sincerely, me太油腻了！Zoe 唱不上去高音！镜头表现力最好的就是Evan妈妈，30岁的本普拉特演高中生演技依旧挺好就是脸部特写太多了看麻了。
我不李姐，真的不李姐，看在歌还算好听的份儿上打个三星
蜻蜓点水式的叙事和人物…听听歌就可以了的程度。
我是想象着这是一场音乐剧的角度来看待电影版的。有机会的话真的想看看音乐剧版！

也就那样，光看电影绝对想象不到这是拿托尼奖的音乐剧。。。
有几首很喜欢的歌被删了，有点遗憾但也能理解。第三幕康纳的那首新歌加得很棒，没有试图解释太多或想让人一下就理解他，但提供了一个能窥见康纳另一面的机会。这既给了康纳家人和埃文些许安慰，也给了观众一个情绪出口。

没有看过音乐剧，单就本片而言，感受还好。Evan在人群中走过，那种不安和躲藏，我也有些微体会。Connor在制造邮件的过程中出现的那一刻，令人觉得难过和痛惜。看过一个日本纪录片，有些孩子离开了，但没有给家人留下只言片语，家人一直在寻找孩子离开的原因。不过本片剧情还是有些单薄，Connor和Alana的形象也不完满。
真的改编得很难受，中间剧情聊天时间拉长了很多，音乐反而砍了一些，但是剧情本身并不精彩吸引人，原剧最大优点是歌足够好听，电影这波改编扬短避长了。其次connor妈妈演技很灾难。最后我是一路快进听歌去了。
假如我没看过音乐剧会给电影五星。然而看过音乐剧的我只能给四星了，对于alana这个人物动机的改动扣一星，即使我很喜欢alana的歌—黑人小姑娘纯洁无暇，就是纯粹的热爱social work。以及电影省略了两首我特别喜欢的音乐剧歌曲(good for you, to break in a glove)，再扣半星—青春片里，成年人的愤怒不重要🤷🏻♀️。然后加半星给一个细节的细化“I feel the branch give away” 是字面解释还是隐喻呢。最后的最后，Ben Platt carry全片！
就你以为这个音乐剧这么好那电影再烂也不会太烂 但是…………
