The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 暖心的故事，很感动。剧情精彩，音乐顺耳，表演精湛。看完这电影（音乐剧），谁能不想去newfoundland呢
让我没想到的是，me and the sky最触动我泪点的地方在于，她慷慨激昂地回顾了自己的职业生涯，从众人眼中的异类到赢得世界的认可，个中艰难溢于言表，这时她忽然用温柔的语调唱道 “突然间，我结婚了；突然间，我成了母亲；突然间，孩子们都这么大了，”寥寥几句间流露出的幸福让我欣慰，永远斗志满满的铁娘子并不意味着要剜去柔软，有一个男人对她的美好的仰慕和尊重不需要去争得，从这开始我就泪崩了
它在有限的演员身上安放两三个角色，配合简单的道具，从而塑造不同的群像，搭建出丰富的场景，但又并不让观众觉得混乱，很多简单的转场效果极佳。
