The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 剧情超无聊，算是后疫情时代的一个结合科技的小品，但未免有点太半成品了……
比想象中好，前部女主角色塑造到位，镜头角度有力，看到coinbase发出会心一笑😂
惊悚故事拍的很乏味，观感很酷完全基于镜头运用，仰视斜角，所有角度几乎没有一个是正的，压迫感就出来了。
是好看的，小成本，却又有很多精细的设计，给人感觉就是：游刃有余，并且很乖
给了那么多对窗宅男的镜头，我以为会有火花，结果凯文最终还是工具人啊……
俗套的叙事模式。但因为以新冠疫情为时代背景，又指涉了人工智能、大数据监控等时代因素，加之独立电影般的简单的制作方式和语言风格，才使它略微值得一看。
“后窗”、“放大”、桌面电影、疫情、AI、女性相助、现代人心理障碍...迷影梗也好，当下热点也好，这么多元素堆砌，但剧作实际上很单薄。

关于 covid 和 wfh 的一些设定太投机取巧了，后面的正面冲突像是儿戏
