戏说传奇人物，但没有拍出特别的传奇味来，差了那么点意思。

人物三两个，个个都不同，男主老亨利是通过儿子的日常疑问与闯入歹徒的撒谎陪衬出来的，但仍然是用笔极简，后劲深长；电影叙事徐徐展开，挖掘出了一个隐没西部民间十多年的传奇。
