The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 虽然没有明星流量明星，但是好看，朴实，真实。看这样的片子，至少还可以了解一个地方的风俗民情，至少看着很舒服。
潮汕人看这种电影容易热泪盈眶的。刚好又到了谈婚论嫁的年纪，有点感慨
你不看我不看，导演啥时候能出圈。素人演员非常亲切可爱，看导演说有些台词是演员用自己的语言发挥的，虽然听不懂潮汕话也能感到自然。机场追了人却只是送了特产笑死人了，套路中的小逆反加分。
传统与现代，突破与规矩，文明与风俗，最后都在亲情中融为了一体。电影冲突的呈现与表达也很高级。
很有诚意的电影，每个地方都有每个地方的嫁娶困局。女主很大气
妈妈演得真好。有一个潮汕海边的空镜让我想起恋恋风尘最后那个云卷云舒的长镜头。

地方性的，最近看了这部、东北虎和爱情神话，最喜欢这部，比东北虎好个二十几倍吧，但节奏不行，我妈看睡着了；关键点的处理（妈妈的转变）有点水不够打，女主差劲，好在爸妈实在演得太好了。三部片的区别就是：讲不讲人话，关不关心人物命运。看海报有点像《别告诉她》，王子逸还是厉害！P.S.我妈说音乐很动人呢！
男主的妈妈真是典型的潮汕女人，既要做家务照顾老人小孩，还要挣钱攒钱给儿子娶媳妇，最重要的年头拜到年尾

剧情其实没有太多的波折，但是难得的是真诚的表达
