The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 懂了，这个世界价值观里命最贵的是狗狗。意外还不错，虽然第一轮还是觉得打得没啥必要，揭开真相后第二轮确实打爽了
屏住智商，开挂盲侠。重复的步伐，没能够1+1＞2。★★★/6.4
第一部的惊悚风格变成了血浆风。加入了小孩却减弱了屏住呼吸的概念，多少有点得不偿失吧。
虽然已经没了第一部新鲜感的优势，但第二部做成这样实在失望，除了水波纹很dark echo外基本落入俗套，主角设定自带的紧张感全无，小女孩演技太差频频出戏，整体都过于糊弄了。
變成犯罪驚悚動作片了，老頭一如既往戰鬥力神級，面對荷槍實彈的毒販依然不落下風
基本保持了第一部简洁剧作配合出色动作逻辑的优点，血腥度提这么多估计是想补偿失去的密闭空间高概念。就是这回大哥这战斗力也太强了吧，白发夜魔侠啊，关于狗子的设计感觉也不大合理😂
韩影老套路爽片。为了朴素丹看的，从《京城学校》开始一直挑战不同形象的角色，简直是百变小魔女，爽片开挂女主也不例外。希望身体快快恢复，多出来接戏吧！
缝合致敬都谈不上
前面该少表现点的，主要看的其实是对抗状态，第二部讲太多故事了，反而没有第一部那种不废话，就是干的感觉了。
制作剧情表演人设摄影都比第一部更上一层楼，分数反而更低？我都想让编剧入围奥斯卡了
《屏住呼吸2》——这个瞎子不太冷，且致敬豆瓣消失已久的“父母皆祸害”小组。
从影视作品上就能看出来，中国是日益强大的，以前要干点坏事跑路是用美国护照，现在干点坏事跑路要做中国护照。小孩子长得可真好看
相当硬核，部分场面过于血腥。杀人，狗，躲藏，紧张刺激。一个盲人干黑团伙，相当武侠。
动作戏基本上都是正面对抗，这还叫什么屏住呼吸，完全浪费了这个核心卖点。毒贩子的战斗力相对也比较高，完全没有上一部的几个笨贼有看点，笨贼与老大爷之间的博弈远比这一部精彩多了
这部有点牵强了，悬疑惊悚的元素少了点。由于我太爱这个系列了，多给一星。
第一部封闭空间的虐杀还是挺带感的，神出鬼没的瞎子也挺有压迫感的。续集基本把优点全抛弃了，变成一个不怎么带感的动作片。狗比人好。。
走出舒适圈就不属于这部电影的立意了，虽然我第一部只给了两星
一般续集是换汤不换药，此片是换药不换汤。前半段恶棍成了弱势力，和魔高一丈的反派玩起了老鬼当家。后半段老头绝地反击，上部的羊入虎穴也成了虎入狼群。长镜头和很多安室击杀拍得也很有设计感。一个黑吃黑的故事让观众的立场三度扭转也是蛮有意思，老流氓的人设也因此变得更为复杂和扭曲。可以拍下去，挺期待第三部。
爽片无疑，几乎是上来就开干。除了主角依然是盲人老汉，几乎跟第一部没什么关系。有几个地方看得人肾上腺素急升，特别喜欢前面小女孩躲避坏人的那段长镜头。
