The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 名为“警察故事”，其实没怎么借鉴成龙的《警察故事》系列，反而学习了很多甄子丹的“警察故事”系列，包括剧情、动作场面、发展线索，等等。尤其是打斗场面，有很多是模仿了《导火线》。
谢苗这打得还可以啊，就是这剧情……国内武打明星断代真的挺严重诶。
服化道优秀，作为东北人看着感觉很接地气，打斗生猛，有国外犯罪片的猛劲儿，作为网大来说很不错，四星鼓励，希望国内多拍这类东北犯罪题材作品
简单粗暴东北的东，虽然可能现实不会如此，但还是挺希望东北有这样的热血警察的存在
抛开剧情这些不说，打戏真的有小时候看李连杰武打片的感觉，拳拳到肉干净利落。
让我想起了熊大熊二，三兄弟，一没文化，二没脑子，三没人性。。。
细想了一下，国产的警匪电影中有这般动作质量和硬度的作品其实并不多，这得益于谢苗本身的底子，当然和他一起配戏的演员表现都不错，那个老三的斯文败类以及到最后强调自己自己特别能打的人物塑造也是可圈可点。近期看了两部谢苗的电影，希望好的资源再去找找他，还是很让人有期待的。
动作戏份还不错，没有网络电影的塑料感。就是反派的设定不怎么样，有点单薄和套路化。
