The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 不过 黑白渐渐彩色很喜欢
尤为喜欢影片的风格，美术设计、画面、音乐与神秘未知的元素，有种回到小时候最开始听冒险故事的感觉。但是全片节奏迷离，有故弄玄虚的嫌疑，加上文化上的差异，很多体现在细微处的表达都被忽略了，如果开始我就知道国王是亚瑟王时看的时候就不一样了。
Il fu Luigi Pirandello， 已故的皮兰德娄，“指导我们行为的准则来自于坟墓和死亡。”
整体很容易让人联想到第七封印。摄影算亮点了，尤其是两次环形运动来暗示主题，而且灯光配乐甚至烟雾效果都挺出色，几个主角演技也都到位。但寓言体的情节有点散也不好理解，而且剪辑步调忽快忽慢的也不习惯
色调很好，故事太差，整篇敢情是白马王子的大型造星揭秘。
「绿色是生命的颜色，也是腐烂的颜色。红色是欲望的颜色，但绿色是欲望和激情消逝后留下的东西，在内心深处，在子宫里。」
长篇叙事诗。导演野心很大，敢用亚瑟王圆桌骑士的故事玩meditation，听说借鉴了塔可夫斯基的《安德烈•卢布廖夫》，学习尚未成功，还有继续努力的空间，还可以再大胆一点。
弟弟与哥哥漫长的告别，第三幕笔锋一转，以对未尽之作毫不完善的演绎总结这一波三折的"魂归故里"，在粗糙的背景板下略过了人生的跨度，乡愁中更增添了许多遗憾。

然而不是西方观众 对神话故事 人物 剧情和骑士美德实在不太熟 没啥代入感
期待越高失望越大，魔幻元素不少，A24也有质量保证，但是故事内核却很单调
去年看的，今天清一下迅雷才想起来。BDO重度爱好者狂喜。

反骑士精神的醉乡民谣，最后促成男主角成为骑士的仅仅也是对充斥谎言的未来的恐惧。
