The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 怎么说呢？终于官宣在一起了，亲个嘴都要等那么久，更何况还没亲到，气人！
艾伦索金用了一个扎实的剧本来借古讽今，借此片指着懂王鼻子开骂。可惜对于各方立场的标签化处理让整个事件缺乏真实感。过于依靠台词推动也暴露了这位大编剧拙略的导演能力。6.5/10
电影充分表达了现实的可悲，反战又如何，老话说的好“狗改不了吃屎”，表面光鲜正确的蒙太奇下，现实是如此地无力呢！
在大选的时节看很应景。这么大的信息量，能有条不紊的呈现出来，了不起！全片演员的表演方式跟片子喜剧类型元素很贴合，有趣但不会过于戏谑。🤩🤩🤩看到些评论真让人上火，与其担心索金是不是更左，不如担心自己工作KPI有没有完成惹。

历史是任人打扮的小姑娘，电影中的历史是，电影本身也是，时过境迁，蒙娜丽莎都有千万种神态。

片尾曲缓缓唱道“let us make a world in which I believe”, sounds attempting but how selfish, and unfortunately this has always been the American ideology.
处处是设计处处是价值观判断，反而冲淡了真实感，内容上又缺乏新意，与大量的好莱坞左派作品流于同质化的泥淖，看多了就觉得，跟主旋律影片也没啥区别。
恭喜网飞拍出了一部美国版《辩护人》。我被感动，不是某种价值观又或者某种壮举，只是因为自己的懦弱。
回顾起来 Abbie要比Tom格局大得多
剧本和剪辑确实漂亮。通过庭审过程中的不断闪回，逐步勾勒了和平抗议如何变成了暴力冲突，没有浪费笔墨在还原冲突本身上。
