The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 今时今日如果再单纯讲述克隆人是独立个体——即便带着原型的全部记忆——已毫无新意，于是本片将这一并不新鲜的设定嫁接到了个体为家庭奉献的美国中产核心价值观上，拍出了新意。

再也无法承受
影片的演绎都是关于告别，同自己、同爱人，这份费心铺垫，残忍又何其幸运，现实里太多人都没有个像样的告别。影片启止纯粹如一，结局深情而伤感，只要自己爱的人幸福就好，无论最后陪伴她的人是谁。大爱如此，似傻如痴，可也正展现了人类拥有真挚感情的美好。
吃饭时玩游戏会不会带来“噩梦”

不想去評判克隆人的道德云云，只是想知道，如果是為了愛，就可以無限延續嗎？只要有一絲的可能性，是不是都要盡一切所能嘗試？

游戏玩家重口味版，极致浪漫而残酷，又特别温暖。玩的比漫威要潇洒多了，期待续作。
人要与自己和解是最难的，以及，从自我的高傲中剥离出来也是最难的，所以，这剧情来得太轻松了。
即便有些鸡汤，但我还是很喜欢这个故事，在“告别”这件看似很小实则很大的事情上尽可能深挖。非常打动人。阿里演的很好，主角内心那种不舍和纠结，那种想要放手但又忍不住触碰的心态，刻画得非常到位了。本来以为两个阿里相见之后的发展会变得刻意且生硬，但剧作还是比较巧妙地避开了这一点，同时也给予了观众足够的回味空间。片子探讨的话题其实挺值得思考的，记忆与情感，存在与身份，当“我”和我一模一样甚至承接我的意志时，“我”还是我吗？

对于男人而言，就算思想意识甚至于灵魂完全一样，那也是另外一个肉体，这不是简单的爱自己还是家人的抉择问题。
终于调对了节奏，可惜江山已经丢了大半，整体还是有了一丝久违的快乐
节奏太棒了，基本上没有尿点，更重要的是每个人物都好有特点啊，形象很立体，当然最出彩的还是小丑女了，人物真是太闪光了，也看得出导演的偏爱，好几个镜头拍的很美。
喜欢小丑女的鲜花时刻，以及其他所有她出镜的时刻，其他的我就不说了。
