The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 这种类型的美式轻松喜剧还是挺受用的。谁不想回到高中呢，哪怕已经是发福不再好看的中年妇女了，又有谁高中时候不想成为人见人爱的cool kid然后做一些中二的梦又在中年回望时带着点怀念去鄙夷。想起我也错过了国内的高中毕业典礼，但是我班级的同学知道我回来的日子特地邀请我重新穿上校服回到校园拍了毕业照，真是美丽的十八岁。
对从小看美国高中青春电影长大的人来说，这个故事加上独领风骚女主的出现就是在告诉我the past is the past, don’t hold on to the past.
很有趣的设想，社会发展20年，好像日新月异又好像很多都没变。关于政治正确的讨论也很有意思，感觉可以拍的更好。导演太会选演员了，2022届毕业生都好漂亮可爱。
