The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 如此温柔的回望，即使是在生命的漩涡之中。坐夜班地铁回家的路上经过了塞纳河，河面也有点点星光，想到三年前好像也是因为某个类似的瞬间决定要来巴黎读书，而三年过去，能够在这里，在这部的片尾曲里告别二十二岁实在是再幸福不过的事情了。Thanks for all the little moments and small fragments of our lives, and for life itself.

80年代的巴黎，一切是崭新的，一切都在变动，人们有挣扎、有痛苦，无限迷茫，但也充满希望和可能性。这种氛围，十几二十年前在这片土地上，我也感受过
也许抓到了一些80s巴黎的神韵，但更多依赖于表层符号和技术手段来实现，故事则过分温柔、平滑到近乎失真，恍如听了首流水线制作的梦泡。
