The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 完美的剧本，一条线搞新事业，一条线微悬疑，不再折腾主角团情缘。最感动的是编剧孜孜不倦、不遗余力誓要为每个人找到完美归宿，真是再粉丝友好不过了，使得最终的感伤也没那么难接受。大小姐这次终于有岁月痕迹了，听到她提起大表哥，哎，想起第一季末和圣诞特辑，雪夜大厅，她自楼梯而下，执手凝望，终于喷薄而出的感情，那是最美好的时光了。

完美的结局，剧粉的狂欢！打百星都不为过。每个人都以熟悉的样子回归，每个人都有了幸福的安排，高兴的我几次挥起了手！结尾同一个镜头下老夫人的离去和新生命的降生，简直是庄园的定格：生命来去，但家族永恒！

我没看完，想起以前追剧的日子。忽然有点意兴阑珊。过去的就过去吧。岁月在他们身上刻画的痕迹如此的明显，唐家邨也有些老旧了。哎。一声叹息。
时间线即将来到二战，一切秩序被打破的时代。
质量依然不错 马修像童话里的王子一样 算是呼应美女与野兽？
唐家屯都开播十二年了啊！拍到现在有种所有人都nice到不真实的感觉。有钱有title真好，我也想住大庄园说posh English。没有老太太日常bickering的Downton没有灵魂！

最近很多长篇IP都走到了时代变迁，新旧交替的节点，与这些IP相伴长大的自己也渐近而立之年。再加上整个社会的激烈转向，遂越来越容易超越剧集本身感受到与现实的强烈共鸣。无谓好坏，但是不可避免啊——无论个体是否赞同与接受，人力都阻止不了历史的车轮向前滚动。
{★★★} 作为上一部电影（却完全不是电视剧）的爱慕者，我几乎在第一时间翻出了这部续集。结果是在承认第一部电影描摹贵族生活之余还勾勒时代云涌前屹立不倒之事物的前提下，我发现这一次只剩下絮絮叨叨的贵族生活。这未必全然是一件坏事，因为Julian Fellowes写作人物与台词的能力在这个时代如若凤毛麟角--但坚持你走下去的不该只有情怀，而我怀疑这个IP到底还能透支多久。
如同所有系列剧改编的通病，内容与角色的庞杂被强行塞入电影体量，导致叙事难以深入，老夫人情史的交代又缺乏情感支撑，元电影更使本就浮皮潦草的剧情雪上加霜。从流水账的效果看，编剧显然低估了同时驾驭《雷雨》与《雨中曲》的难度。
