The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 好温柔的一部电影，就好像一个人遇到了曾经的自己，并跟这个自己一起走遍熟悉的街头，采遍别人的心声。满篇都是导演对年轻一代的提问，以及对过去和未来的思考，特别诗意，又格外平淡。非常舒服的电影。
华金·菲尼克斯演了与上一部《小丑》完全不同的人物，身材也胖了回来。影片以质感的黑白画面，把生活化的细腻故事娓娓道来，虽然松散却腔调十足。

文本和听觉结合，表达人物喜欢陷于自己的世界，而孤独的大人与另一个独孤的小孩相处，表现了游离在大人世界之外的孩子们对于爱和理解的渴求。孩子思考自己的人生命题，这个角度真好，但除了两位的表演，实在看不进去
每次看都要起鸡皮疙瘩，太喜欢柯南了，睿智冷静善良有爱！！！名侦探柯南yyds
