The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 前半段的抗争成色，在类型片范畴里可圈可点，节奏把控也凌厉。但是，从司法部长女儿一番所谓同理心表达、以及黑白混血女的“真情流露”，这种老套的政zhi正确和道德正确植入，让整个片子立即坠入烂尾深渊。
另：
剧作有一定基础。表达上很常规，冲突设置的新意也不太足，某些细节比较直白粗浅。在取舍上更偏向于娱乐性。另外：蝎子王也老了呀！
電影其實很簡單，情緒也給予的很到位。但是缺少了這種困境式動作的緊張感，而且角色的成長其實都很突如其來，我不知道這部電影用了多少成本，但其有限的呈現方式，確實看得出電影再處理事件方式上很省略。

遗憾挺大的，张力十足的故事，过程却表现的有点平淡，甚至那段种族对立的历史背景也被几个充满博爱的白人角色所淡化，直接模糊了劫持者的面目，这样的影片真的好吗？
