The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 电影告诉我们没事别约炮。三分之一后，电影就一路崩塌，故事无聊透顶，不是主角光环，可能女主活不到下半场，一个简单的故事，被导演讲得这么乏味重重，也是难得。就浅野忠信可以一看，因为迷人，不是因为故事。

哇，好有想象力，呈现得也很精彩，适合电影院看，可惜没去。喜欢这类干脆利落的女人。
巨石强森的那句“你尿裤子上了吗？长裤女士”简直笑死我了。
不错的合家欢电影。不过作为老牌殖民国家的英国，这样挤兑西班牙人和德国人有点不地道。
虽然迪士尼剧情一如既往的老套，但胜在特效的确做得不错，而且笑点也很足。看得还是挺欢乐的。
客观的说，与之前相比，岩石这次的角色还是有很大的区别的。比如，他戴了一个帽子。
还不错啦，单纯娱乐。我之前听说他们改编游乐园项目还觉得荒谬，没想到真就拍了一部游乐园感觉巨强的电影，就大家都不出汗的冒险行感觉。
典型的迪士尼奇幻冒险片，画面精致，特效在线，故事情节跌宕起伏，结局圆满。

看那几个被诅咒的西班牙人，这跟《加勒比海盗》系列是一个世界观设定吧...
剧情简单，但叙事清晰不拖沓。整体动作戏完成得流畅，痛快淋漓！

痕迹明显的棚拍片，打光很人工，试图在棚里展现亚马逊风光？电影版的迪士尼乐园？打打吵吵闹闹。
迪士尼真人样板戏一向不负众望，集齐了枯燥乏味冗长三要素，感觉就是为了烧掉什么年度指标而做的，不服就再看三遍《时间的皱折》好了。
已经记不清巨石演过几次这样的冒险奇幻题材电影了，还是一样的套路配方和迪士尼合家欢，图个乐呵，归根到底还是再为迪士尼游乐园项目服务
