The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 我最喜欢的歌舞片类型，现在不流行了。小男孩唱歌真好，很有表现力。
总体下来看着还挺轻松愉快的，感觉像在看武侠片呢，烧烤江湖？？？这个感觉？整体像是加长版的小品吧，主题永远是那个情。 中间有段苏阳的《贤良》让我惊了一下，崔志佳有点意思。
挺无聊的，这一再说明不是每个人都能当导演，特别是有的人可能戏都还没有演清楚

其实在网上看看这种烂片还挺好的哈哈哈，有点以前开着电视做其他事的舒适感，可能这才是烂片的正确打开方式！

《烧烤之王》基本还停留在崔志佳小品式的创作思维，疯狂融梗，建立矛盾。小品演员做电影，优势在于对故事代入，背景交代有非常高效的创作思维。本片的核心矛盾在影片开始十几分钟就确立了。但是问题就在于，崔志佳没有完整的电影创作逻辑，不断加入网络段子，近九十分钟的片子，竟然连第二幕都没讲完就草草收尾。这就展现出作者完全没有电影整天概念的问题。作为电影，连基本结构都没走完，片子一定是不及格的。作为段子合集，还能勉强一看。
作为中国本土情怀的深夜食堂，烧烤比电影更吸引人。
