The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 适合小朋友观看的动画片。
国内华人的观感，顶多给三星。倒不是有辱，纯粹因为比较尬，共情力也有些弱。看在创作者诚意的份上，多给点鼓励。作为一部漫威英雄起源电影，勉强也可以打四星吧。
有些地方还是刻板印象大融合，但打戏真的很不错，“桃花源记”的设定还蛮带感的，最后大战那里的摄影构图绝了，7分吧~
6.6/10，的确很明显看得出对《卧虎藏龙》《十面埋伏》《一代宗师》等武打片的借鉴。①相爱相杀的父（文武）子（尚气）情，主要矛盾点一个是过去的（父亲曾是帮派大佬，仇家找上门复仇杀死了母亲，尚气和父亲因此一起血洗了仇家，而后尚气因为杀过人深受困扰）一个是现在的（文武被妖魔蛊惑误把释放妖魔当成了释放亡妻，以及儿子干掉被释放的妖魔继承十环【父亲也随之死去】并与自己的背景和解）。设定上十环威力巨大。②叙事和视听整体上皆是标准水平的陈词滥调（以及依然有的插科打诨老毛病），不过各种打斗段落处理地蛮好看（当然，无法和港产武打片最好的打斗段落比）。梁朝伟的角色塑造加0.1，某些特效太假扣0.1。
漫威为了中国市场做了很多工作，反而是歪打正着。因为如果就按以往他们“主题公园”式的工业化剧本拍摄，自蜘蛛侠欧洲行后我真觉得太乏味无聊。本质上还是一个西方弑父故事，但是因为梁的个人表现力让电影呈现出微妙的不同，虽然男主可能根本没有个get到对手演员表达的情绪。关于乳滑的话，我仔细回想了下，单就影片本身来说应该是没有的。

武戏的风格很《警察故事》+《卧虎藏龙》+《蜀山》。
比預期好 影院大概坐滿了2/3 笑點都還不錯 至於辱華 未曾見得 陳法拉和xu xiaoling 分別代表了兩種不同的東方美 並沒有刻意用fox eyes 來代表華裔女性 這點很好 在場大家都看的情緒高漲 每一個笑點都catch到 最後字幕出來ten rings will return 在場觀眾都在高呼 一部亞洲電影在北美某個小地方能獲得如此高的認同 真好雖然功夫氣功 Dragon啥的 都知道是鬼佬視角 無妨 反正大家都有一個開心的下午
从前不爱看美国动画，最大的原因是美国动画的台词往往非常密集紧凑，甚至不留气口，听得脑壳疼。现在去影院看开心汉堡店的剧场版，100分钟下来竟然看得津津有味。回想起来，也许是因为这些年来我的英语听力进步了罢～
真的是给小孩看的呢，成年人没有享受到；最后一段过山车很适合做成虚拟过山车哦
简直怀疑是 dc 来拍的，而且彩蛋没有跟任何漫威宇宙有关系
第一次看到美国一大家子动画能这么正常，父母相爱勤勉，又爱孩子又宽容，兄弟姐妹关系好，同学之间也没有霸凌，连有钱人房东都不是坏人，这也太……难得了
我给两星不过分吧。主要是一个喜剧没有笑点。。。。为什么叫喜剧？Bob's burger我是扫过之前的动画片。所以抱着好奇心和无所事事去考文特花园看的
并没有实质性的面对这家人的任何一个问题，感觉像一部迪士尼乐园
作为湖南人注意到的两个小细节：
梁朝伟将漫威电影里没有说服力的搞事理由，“一个鳏夫能有多疯狂”，演绎的十成十。真是没想到在文戏里感受到了爱有多深，情有多伤，人有多疯。
没有剧版好笑诶·不过一家人还是很可爱，疯疯癫癫无厘头但是又很有爱
剧情还好啦，剪辑都有点快，尚气前期没有超能力的时候纯靠的拳脚功夫，比后面的特效有意思多了，但是不要沉迷慢动作了直接打好吗哈哈。杨紫琼的一招一式还是那么赏心悦目，但是大战的时候竟然只和文武对骂了一句？女主和元华都可可爱爱的，内地真的不能引进吗，唉…
合格的爆米花电影，动作戏编排很精彩。陈法拉太美了，为了她加一星。
另外一直觉得尚气这演员长得丑爆了，还吃相难看
