The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 重新崇尚自然，认大地为万物万灵的母亲：聆听得到母亲低语的地方长出植被，缺少母亲教导的地方才有纷争，人类在地面上建立的文明都是可以等到终结的一瞬，各种围墙、制度都像是天被地床间的一场过家家。希尔达第一季就讲了人类和精灵的关系：人类因为看不见小小的精灵，会随意地（无知地）侵犯精灵的家园，其实对于大地母亲来说人也是一样弱小，但母亲选择包容。作者是个了不起的人，不知道他是不是也有一位了不起的母亲，因为在他创造的世界里母亲和女性是这么的强大温柔……当然，也可以用幼教片的视角去看：尊重妈妈的爱，时不时地倾听妈妈的叮嘱，这些与自由奔跑并不冲突。

结局挺意外的，不过却也同时解释了很多事情，好温暖啊，爱了。

节奏有点快，队长性格转变如果能多花点笔墨刻画就好了，整体观感有点番外篇的赶脚
