The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 很概念艺术性的动画，感觉是短片加长版，不适合搞这种长度，分段可能好些。
类似2001太空漫游，剧情就像是观光巴士，重点是（导演想表达的）窗外的景色而非巴士座椅舒适与否。
每一帧都是噩梦，实在佩服导演自己能够坚持做这么多年。
筹备了三十多年做出的定格动画，虽然不解其深意，但我大为震撼，频频作呕。
