The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 王长田敢干票大的吗？光线除了小成本翻拍还会干嘛？艺术是为了创作而非剽窃赚钱。
对比日版缺了点喜感，喜剧部分节奏都不太对，但青春感还是出来了，五个少年各自形象也比较鲜明，而不是像原版只看到妻夫木聪。视觉上赏心悦目，算翻拍得比较有完成度了，就是最后“女生要柔美男生要阳刚”那儿还是有点囧。

好看的，很夏天，结尾也很热血，群戏场面有惊喜，今年最好的国产青春片之一。本土化做成这样，应该给予掌声。
同名电影的改编，无疑为《五个扑水的少年》提供了一个具有先天优势的范本，但也抹杀了一个关于青春故事在创作上更多的可能。从整体来看，这部电影近乎所有的优点都是基于原作的构思，而所存的问题则很大程度上源于并不够成功的嫁接，在失去了原作中夸张却不乏真挚的喜剧氛围后，电影并没有能讲好一个属于我们中国自己的青春故事。
这才是一个身体健康心理也健康之大国该有的青春片的味道。
