剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     #venezia78 非竞赛展映。Edgar Wright真是一个excellent storyteller，可以把任何故事装在精美的潘多拉盒子里，故事层层推进，高潮时所有evil喷涌而出，打得观众七零八落。前面有一些熟悉的电影的影子，鉴于剧本是他本人写的，我把这看做致敬，因为Edgar绝不是一个缺乏想象力的艺术家。影片直到2/3处Thomasin McKenzie饰演的女主都不讨我喜，尖叫得有点生硬，但鉴于Edgar是个纯直男，在大决战干净利索完美处理并且明确点题后不得不接受他就是要这么简单粗暴直接了当的释放。有时我们对一个导演宽容，除了因为对他的喜爱之外，还有对他稳健自信的倾佩。女性题材以这样一种形式表达，虽不够思想深刻，但足够令人印象深刻。男人们在侵犯女性时，应该思考一下，到底谁之错。
