The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 評價頗兩極，本人一不讀女校；二不信上帝，當然無法有深切體會，但還是要吐糟幾句。新導演敍事技巧有欠圓熟尚可原諒，唯獨全片充斥男性沙文主義，一對女主角就像偷雞摸狗般不見天日。本來二人可以藉韋家雄之離世破斧沉舟，抛卻世俗眼光，編導卻讓角色服膺於世俗，相互出賣自己。一次不忠；百次不用，最後讓談善言來當伴娘，算是啥玩意？一切淪為造作與矯情。

略刻意了，而且设定是80后就觉得有点高调？。。光太强了，两个人已经足够好看了。。两家父母这么开明居然都没有维持下去？？。。也没有看到社会如何不待见queer群体就这样了。。嗯好吧，果然都只是年轻的错而已。。

很难不快进看完，给三星还是在 My Dear, Best Friend 的加成下。

有感动到，来自真情实感，正好今晚看了另外一部美国的校园同性爱情片，和香港的这部相比，显然细节上耿能共情。三场戏，可见导演的用心，破处和穿破耳膜-青春的撕裂；对着镜头采访说出导演初衷，戏内戏外的互文；一起走进教堂，情感的升华。同样喜欢叙事节奏的处理，在失去父亲的情绪低位的道别后，留下承诺，为她读电影而后叙事回到开头，让结尾的婚礼充满期待。
电影中为什么会忽然约定30岁，以及30岁之前不联系，显得莫名其妙。为了be而be。

笑死，她们两个的关系被校长发现后叫家长，两方父亲居然都说:女孩子和女孩子亲近没问题，我自己也喜欢女人啊？？？男人喜欢女人不是天经地义么，这能一样么？脑子呢
大人们得体的教育方式，和两人的勇敢，还是值得肯定的。很难理解的是，分手了还能做最好的朋友，太扎心
