The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 虽然看到片名就知道了大概的剧情，无非就是相互扶持共同成长，叛逆的收敛了，懦弱的勇敢了，堪称美式合家欢。不过比较难得的是演员都很真诚，所以不像其他的音乐电影那么出戏。但作为金属题材，只能说用了金属这个噱头，对于内核的探讨比较浅，不过这也是大多数人所能接受的互相妥协。金属老炮们出来现身说法，简直就是美式主旋律。整体没什么亮点，但也没太大毛病。三位主演都挺年轻，但是很有灵气。

三星半，超可爱，女主被bully完全没道理，那么美。
怎么说呢，不是了解题材后期待能看到的对抗感和无力感，有种兜来绕去的剧情还不如几句金句有力的感觉，可惜了
配角真的更好看，但是主角的确更具有辨识度。
Emily爆發那裡笑死我，管你Metal不Metal，老娘一椅子下去，哈哈哈哈哈哈哈，Joe怎麼越來越像個pornstar，怪吸引人的，好喜歡這種outsider freak nerd的故事，Kevin和Emily那裡也太溫柔了，要淹沒在他倆柔和的聲線裡面了。
