剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     剧作结构相当不错，用表现形式回溯，可惜末尾也没让这个叙事空间真实出现，不然可以形成互文的。故事本身有触动我的点不过确实比较自恋，文艺工作者的归宿确实是某种无私的自我创作与表达吧，不过艺术与生活的那个30岁倒数确实也很准确。那个从小玩到大的gay 朋友的故事挺动人，成功与男主对比，相当立体，是很不错的，但也没有完全自洽，他的初心是什么？应该是把艺术当作某种功利性工具，与加菲把艺术当作生活的全部不同，可gay在得知自己阳性之后也没有太明确的行动。这么看，在已有文本的基础上还是显得编剧改编团队不够出色。摄影相当不错，运动摄影很有质感，多层次的分镜表现也让提名剪辑情有可原
