The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 挺感动的。在现有体量和形式下做得够好了…（音乐剧本身就很难把内容做得特别深）这个戏本身也像911事件中的甘德一样提供了近乎乌托邦式的美好、友善、温暖。对于戏剧应该如何改编真实事件，和当下产生互动还蛮有启发的。
戲劇節奏太好了，內容也很豐富，有溫情有恐懼有隔閡有反思，不同的人可以看到不同的東西。
911之后真正反思外交政策的有作品吗？只有这些逃避大问题，满足点温情的东西吗？
故事素材不用说。关键是舞台形式，给人启发。

作为音乐剧倒是没有给我印象特别深的歌曲（机长姐姐的Me and the sky好听！），剧情也比较一般，主要是当年的真实事件很令人感动。在灾难面前，人们确实没办法忍受一直看新闻，而是会想在自己有资源的时候互相帮助，这是不分种族性向甚至动物权益的（穆斯林在那之后确实备受影响）。
有点失望，以为是全程唱歌，脍炙人口那种，结果更像是话剧，舞台布置别说和被大家说穷的《摇滚红与黑》比了，疯提尔的《狗镇》都可以吊打的水平，总之属于观看失望和实际间的落差太大

发生在纽芬兰小岛上的暖心故事，真是一群可爱的人。p.s.前有《汉密尔顿》，后有《来自远方》，这样的官方录制麻烦多来点好吗！
整片励志感人。虽是舞台表演。但故事讲述非常清楚。可以想象很多画面。
演员们太厉害了，全场无休息，一秒钟都不停的
回家的火车上看的，继《汉密尔顿》之后的第二部音乐剧。音乐剧这种东西，将音乐和剧情结合在一起，真的很有表现力，入坑了。小镇居民的援助，是人性中最原始的善的表达。
