剧情俗套、情感的转变生硬。控制欲强的妈妈突然顺从女儿的叛逆（从妈妈的视角看，女儿成绩下滑，半夜溜出去轰趴，还有可能有生命危险，一下子就放手了？？），作为闺蜜组仇敌的泰勒上一次出场还在侮辱女主和她的家庭，仅仅因为喜欢同一个乐队就嗨在一起了excuse me？
比较喜欢里面那个拉美裔的小gay，虽然在影片前半段一直以反派的形象存在，不过可以看出他的社交地位实际上与女主角差不多。女主身边至少还有三个朋友，而他却只能靠着红熊猫的噱头才能吸引同学来参加自己的生日趴，这条暗线背后的人物状态很值得玩味
勉强及格吧禁不起推敲。诸多亚裔的刻板印象，非常尴尬，甚至有乳的嫌疑。总的说来好像讲了一个故事就叫做怎么别人都没事就尼玛你有事，还是大事。这种高等华人对其他族群文化困境和身份认同矛盾采取无视的态度真的很欠揍啊。
