The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 从剧情的角度来说其实说了一个很有想象力但是不太复杂的故事，但是故事背景真实而温馨，复原了一个活灵活现的幸福而又充满期待的年代。很巧合的是，主角的童年跟我家人的童年有很多相似的地方。虽然生活条件艰苦很多，但是这种充满希望建设美好家园的大环境是共通的。六十年代，真是个神奇的年代啊
毛子真敢编，这样乱编就不怕丁丁下台以后成为俄式宣传案例。

这种rotoscope的动画技术真实但又很诡异。结尾妈妈那句“how memory works”不要说就好了。总体就是一篇文章可以搞定的事情拍了一部电影。
其实故事是不太合格的，把登月的过程过于简化了，而且描得2d还是不如真人来得震撼，亮点全部在于对流行文化的怀念，以及对登月/日常的对比，最后那段成功登月的话术，听上去很讽刺
在一个需要担心明天有没有面包，工作会不会丟，自己能住哪里的社会，谁还会有探索的勇气和开拓一切的无拘无束的自由呢
画面把童年的所有能记住的记忆点都描绘的不错
