The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 柔化的光线和取景进一步中和了内容的严肃性,增强了可看性。人物关系的叙述取舍得当，以简洁的方式将纯的众多关系网络完整化，为纯和三浦的主线发展留有了充足的叙事空间。基本上属于中规中矩的好。
黑人为了自由，为了自身不被种族歧视而抗争之路，在有白人的世界一直那么艰难。这部影片也拍的很真实，充满了人性的张力。《误杀2》似乎和这个真实的故事很有相似。
很难给人一个高潮的支点，整个故事显得有点清汤寡水。

穷途末路，改变诉求，释放曼德拉，竟然形成了一个伟大的劫持。
自由的代价到底是什么？要先看怎么去定义自由。自由永远是相对的，大家共同认可和服从一个规则，在这个规则的框架下，去获得最大的自由，而不是服从一个人。
米国严重的赤裸的种族歧视，深度唤醒有色人种内心深处的对自由的向往，对人权的向往。偏执己见的往往是那些自恃清高手握生杀大权的人。
前1个小时铺垫过长，而且并没有把人物性格人物背景交代好，好在后30分钟的高潮捡起来了。“若为自由故，一切皆可抛”。

这种电影从电影工业角度没什么可说的，无非就是在有限的场景里依靠演员和矛盾冲突把故事与观众紧密的带入到一起，引起共情，达到最佳的影像效果
