A quick glimpse at the cast for this film would make any horror fan giddy with glee. The actual movie doesn't live up to those high expectations, but it's far from being all bad. Desi Arnaz Jr. (!) plays an author who makes a crazy $20,000 bet with his publisher that he could write a great novel in only 24 hours. To do so, the publisher gives him the keys to an old abandoned house where he won't be disturbed. Not true. Once he gets there he is interrupted by a multitude of guests including a family which consists of John Carradine, Sheila Keith, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price. They are gathered there in a twisted family reunion to release their brother from the room he's been imprisoned in for forty years. Even Christopher Lee drops by as Corrigan, the man who has just purchased the house. Soon, they realize that the caged brother is loose and out for revenge.
What a great plotline and what a dream cast! This movie should have been a hell of a lot better. It's hard to pinpoint the exact problems with the film, but I would venture to say that the lack of lighting was a major fault. Sure the house has no electricity but I think they took the title of the movie a little too literally. Scenes after scenes are barely visible and the actors' faces are undecipherable. Only the moments in the main dinning hall are well lit. Also, the great actors are given very little to do. Cushing gets a few chuckles as the scared brother but Price, Lee and especially Carradine are somewhat wasted here. Well, at least Price gets the best line of the film: `Please don't interrupt me while I am soliloquizing.' And on the plus side, the story has enough twists and turns throughout to keep one`s interest and the ending, while a bit of a cop-out, manages to surprise.

看的犯困啊，开始还有点害怕，气氛营造的有点惊悚。总体一般，还能看。
新闻直播5分钟前，电视台知名主播世拉接到一名女子的电话，对方表示自己将被杀害。世拉认为这只是通恶作剧电话，但内心又感到十分不安，而世拉的母亲素贞则认为，这是个能让世拉成为真正主播的好机会，让世拉决定前往对方的家，没想到却发现女子和其女儿陈尸在家中。此后，世拉眼前不断浮现那名女子死去的模样，并再次见到曾出现在案发现场的精神科医生仁浩，对于曾是死者主治医生的仁浩，世拉对他的疑心愈来愈重……
剧情紧凑，身临其境，只是时间太短，特别是打斗场面很少，不过，依然令人兴奋，果然不愧是我，拯救了人理😬
配乐照搬七章，打斗复制七章，声优请不来，演出没有张力，节奏崩坏。整部电影通篇充斥着两个字，《敷衍》

堆叠的女性社会话题，集中而窒息，传承转折是韩影类型电影的一贯打法。可惜主打惊悚元素反而节奏拖沓沉闷，虽剧本深意不错，但氛围昏昏欲睡。
期待了那么久 准备全英灵高潮的时候 整了一出哑剧 立马下头😀
原著小說是我在台灣買的第一本小說（應該。我記得看完的當下還有去找原帖，原帖也還在）小說讀完之後就很喜歡，一直壓在其他書底。具體劇情早就忘了，只記得看完之後挺感動的，沒想到拍成電影居然有這麼長。台灣的🍙確實挺好吃的，女主一個學期就能把吉他🎸學的那麼好真的很厲害了。雖然夢到長大之後的自己總覺得有一絲絲穿越的感覺，不過還是蠻可愛的。這就是青春吧。（話說那句我沒有喜歡你到底是要循環多少次啦）
单单讲女性事业的社会压力就展现的淋漓尽致，导演肯定是女性，太懂了，也只有女性能体会片中母亲们的痛苦。不过节奏慢，废镜头多，中等水平吧。

有点惊喜，节拍OK，很久没看过心理悬疑片了，不错

更多属于心理惊悚，其实一开始暗示挺多的，之后的走向倒也在情理之中。
新瓶装旧酒，和假想的自己对话很有意思，谁的青春没这么干过呐。但整体就是少了一种氛围感，让我去感受这份青春
一开始以为是什么台湾“吃了”系列的新篇章 但它不是 是真的吃早餐了//本来以为是大陆才比较会用一些年纪看起来很大的演员去扮演高中生 但其实台湾也会//原来以为可能会有一点点新意 毕竟吃了一整年的早餐欸 但 淦 真的就普普通通高中青春故事//可能东亚少数承认到同性关系的地区的优势就是 他们可以光明正大地在故事里加点同志情节 吧//哎 今天看片预设太多 真是令人痛苦
驚呆了。
