The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 打发时间、叙事平淡的，但却突出了对弱者的爱和关心。更像《成长的烦恼》毕业版。
居然是男主角自导自演的，有才华，男主角演得也很好，很真切，很温柔。达科塔可能真的是我喜欢的类型，又有成熟女性的妩媚，又有小女孩的脆弱，又有些欲言又止的神秘感，适合这个角色。小品类大男孩爱情电影，比起同款的夏日500天更加真实，不会让人荡然心动，却会让人会心一笑。
mess，sweet，太善良。每个人都是病的，看似健康的爸爸和律师是世界认同的成功主流砥柱，但自我洗脑成功和实际压抑最厉害的。选择在每个人自己，自闭，躁郁，都是过程，和成功的变态没有差异。Free Will is not Free。

3.5分向上取整，这么一部“小”电影因为人物足够有层次，显得内容十分丰富，探讨的情感联系在主流电影中也几乎是完全看不到的，美国年轻观众里许多人都表示强烈共鸣，看来late millenial迷茫宅家的人的确比前几代要多多了。
导演头好大，和女主对戏时，眼神总有种 “对就这样演！情绪到位了！继续！轮到我说台词了”的感觉
SFFILM, 圣丹斯美式鸡汤，男主/导演22岁长相气质跟我一个30多岁爱讲冷笑话的白男盆友极度相似，这可能是我唯一能relate的地方了

小犹的成长故事？挺慢节奏的，失败的感情其实也就是成长的一部分啊，来了证明那多次还热泪盈眶的？。。弟弟的角色好像就为了证明男主有能力你存在感一样，唠叨的老妈倒是挺好的。。略矫情没啥大意义。。
